Communication is an intrinsic part of the human experience. In fact, the stories we tell drive positive societal behaviors from relationship building, problem solving, mental health, and human thriving. These stories and the content we share represent our knowledge and our culture.
We focus on artificial intelligence and today AI has unimaginable potential. Our goal is how do we integrate semantic artificial intelligence to solve life’s grand challenges. Hello, my name is Frank Trevino with Tinman Kinetics and we are developing a new semantic AI technology called AI Biographer designed to solve the communication complexities of distance, time and isolation within military deployment and field operations.
Numerous military studies continue to explore the behavioral challenges of deployment, isolation and confinement of military personnel. Some immediate emotional effects include loneliness, fear and withdrawal.

Our solution focuses on simulating two-way communication while addressing behavioral wellness. Due to isolation and distance, real time communication with family & friends is not always possible and leads to a loss of morale. Collecting personal communication data sets, our solution will remix and retell narratives on a virtual level offering real-time dialogue and positive behavioral reinforcement. In this same process, data sets will determine core communication patterns through speech and visual analysis to evaluate a soldier’s current behavioral state while predicting potential behavioral issues before they arise.
In addition, our solution also facilitates knowledge transfer and training by capturing mission critical communication data sets, remixing and retelling content. Instead of the need for continuous contact with command, information is readily available and structured to support all initiatives in the field helping with decision-making, training and problem solving especially in isolated or unsupervised situations.
Using our semantic AI and other techniques, we can understand the potential behavioral gaps soldiers experience, how often these experiences occur and what preventive measures can be initiated to mitigate these changes and improve human wellness and morale, thus ensuring a higher percentage of mission success.
